Electrical company celebrates decade of growth and quality
From humble beginnings over ten years ago, Ivor Smith's staff compliment has grown from strength to strength.
The family business is run by Ivor Smith and his wife Melanie, who attribute the company's success to the grace of God. Ivor Smith Electrical are commercial and industrial electricians, who are very active in the "automation industry, catalytic converters, factories, warehousing, buildings and the tyre industry," said Ivor.
"The basis of our success is that we get repeat business from our clients - we find that once we have secured contracts with a particular client, they continue using our services for future contracts. We allow our clients to get on with their core business and we get on with our side of the contract and hand over the finished product to the client. We meet our deadlines whatever it takes."
The highly trained and competent electrical staff have a commitment to both the company and to clients, for which Ivor is very grateful. "We do not have a high turnover of staff, and many of the current electricians have been with us for a number of years."
"Our suppliers have also contributed to our success, by supplying quality materials and efficient service. Ivor Smith Electrical sets high standards, standards that even clients do not know that they need, but which we deliver as part of our service."
Ivor Smith Electrical have started a number of factories from bare building shell to completion, installed new transformers, power factor correction panels, established new warehouses and established new production lines and relocated complete factories. "We have also completed the automation of various machines, for example engine lines and tyre building machines."
